The 25% increase limit for residential places has been abolished as of July 1, 2024. The rent increase rate for workplaces and residential places in July 2024 has been announced.

As per the Provisional Article 1 of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the rent increase limit of 25% for residential places shall continue to be applied until July 1, 2024. In other words, the 25% increase limit shall not be applied for the rental contracts that is renewed as of July 2, 2024.
